Mālama Honua CommitteeThis committee seeks to care for our ʻāina and natural resources in alignment with pono business practices. Following the triple bottom line and advocating for sustainable business will guide the work of the committee. Entrepreneurship, Training & Mentorship Committee Hui ʻOihana supports opportunities for entrepreneurship, workforce training and mentorship that will raise a thriving lāhui. This committee will work to create training opportunities where there are workforce needs and make progress to grow the number of Native Hawaiian entrepreneurs on Hawaiʻi Island. Community Relations & Advocacy CommitteeThis committee will work with the community to have conversations about a thriving economy on Hawaiʻi Island and lead advocacy efforts that align with Hui ʻOihana's mission. A key role will be to determine policy focus areas affecting local business, culture, language and ʻāina. Membership Engagement CommitteeThe committee will coordinate member events and activities to create networking opportunities and engagement amongst members.
